I would like to ask if someone can recognize the seed/fruit from the
attached photos (the same sort of seeds are snaped from different
positions (lateral, ventral, dorsal)).
It is some legume, I think Lathyrus sativus or Vicia ervilia or maybe even
a kind of triangular Pisum sativum.
I do not know for sure what it is!
We only know that it is Roman staff (from the 4-5th century AD) from
Slovenia and it was quite abundand in the samples, and so most probably
cultivated.
