SENIOR LECTURER IN STATISTICAL GENETICS AND COMPUTATIONAL BIOLOGY
This new position focuses on coordinating and leading research and
development of new mathematical, statistical and computational methods
applicable to the analysis of complex disease and large-scale omics data.
The abundande of high throughput omics data (genome, transcriptome,
proteome and metabolome data) from human biobank samples jointly with
clinical
data and data on lifestyle, demography and the environment
opens for development of new model based methods for causal understanding of
processes at different scales driving complex
diseases.
