Dear Colleagues,
As you may be aware, Swansea University is hosting the International Association of Gerontology & Geriatrics (IAGG), European Social Research (ESR) conference on the 1st and 2nd July 2010. This is a prestigious international conference currently drawing delegates not only from Europe but from the USA, Canada and Australia!
I appreciate that ageing may not specifically be your main area of interest, however, our primary keynote address is being done by Dr Ad van Berlo from the Netherlands who not only researches but has his own gerontechnology company specialising in assistive technologies and smart homes. He will be addressing the conference on Thursday 1st July using the title “From Gerontechnology to Ambient Assisted Living” which Prof Judith Phillips and I thought you and your colleagues may be interested in.
Registration for this conference can be done via the conference website (www.gerontology2010.swansea.ac.uk) and it is also here where we are posting updated information on presentations and keynotes throughout the conference. If you and/or your colleagues would like to take advantage of this international event being held at Swansea University on the 1st and 2nd July (day rates available see website for details) then please let me know. If you or your colleagues have any additional questions again please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Remember: Registration for this event closes on Fri 4th June so hurry, there is not long left!!
I hope you and your colleagues are able to consider this opportunity and look forward to hearing from you should you have any questions and/or wish to attend.
Kind Regards
Paul Nash
