-Undertake sickness absence consultations, in accordance with corporate
policies and professional boundaries
-Support and meet the needs of the organisation and the individual
-Make referrals to relevant specialist medical services where applicable
-Undertake case reviews including evaluation of any temporary or permanent
disabilities and provision of advice on such cases to management
The successful candidate will be a registered Nurse with Occupational Health
Nursing Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Community or Public Health
Nursing and have experience of working as an Occupational Health Officer or
Advisor.
Experience in the following areas would be beneficial:
Audiology, Lung Function, Cholesterol Testing, Diabetic Screening, Height
and Weight Management, Sickness Absence, Health Promotion and Health
Screening along with a good understanding of D.D.A (Disability
Discrimination Act) and good IT and Computer Skills (Microsoft packages).
