Hi Julie,
I have had the Oscilla USB 300 for maybe almost 3 years now. It has been a
fantastic piece of kit and now that they have a new version of the software
it is even better. The previous version was very glitchy so I have to give
them credit that rather than fix it and maybe introduce more glitches they
developed a completely new piece of software. I am desperately trying to
think of a negative and the nearest that I can come up with is that if you
are not careful the employee can pull the response button jack plug out of
the headset but this has only happened twice in all this time. I operate
mine from a laptop and a small extremely portable notebook. Last week I
used the notebook, the Oscilla USB plus my Micro Medical USB Spirometer in a
tent in the jungle of the Congo so if it can handle that then it can handle
almost anything. The reports can be customised with your company name and
the layout changes and it reads really well from an A4 sheet of paper.
It definitely gets a thumbs up from me.
Frank

Subject: [OCC-HEALTH] PC based Audiometer
Hello list,
I would be interested in any of your opinions on a couple of Audiometers
these being Oscilla USB 300 and the Amplivox PC850. The plan is to obtain 2
audiometers to be used at multisites. I would welcome your views
particularly on general useage and data manipulation etc
Thank you
Julie
