Hi Sue - I well email you privately if this is OK. We were one of HEDS
main sub contractors for 8 years. We specialise in fragile, large format
(e.g. map) and bound volume scanning/digitisation. We are part of
Birmingham City University and we are also on the Jisc Digital Media
list of suppliers
http://www.jiscdigitalmedia.ac.uk/crossmedia/advice/digitisation-service
s/ . This list is useful.
More info on us here if you're interested www.bcu.ac.uk/dcs
Hope this helps!
Thanks, Bev

Subject: Suppliers for Scanning Archive Documents
Dear Colleagues
I urgently need to find a source to scan a large number of archive
documents, I was planning on using HEDS, until I just realised they had
closed down!
If anyone has any suggestions or recommendations of good quality &
reliable UK companies it would be much appreciated.
You can email me direct.
Many thanks
Sue
