Pre-Conference Workshop
Engaging with Open Content: a Framework for the Novice
Date: Wednesday 2 June 2010
Location: SOL 001, SOLSTICE Centre, Faculty of Health Building
New skills and strategies are required to realise the potential of open educational content, presenting many challenges for novice and expert developers alike. The workshop aims to explore the current use of open content illustrated by two case studies, and offer an opportunity to review (and contribute to the direction of) an Open Content Literacy Framework for staff wishing to create, reuse or repurpose digital teaching and learning content with a view to making it freely available.
