Dear Colleagues,
Many of you will have received an email this morning from a junior doctor at Hillingdon Hospital regarding a survey on library services. Several library managers have understandably contacted me asking if I know the purpose of the survey or whether I was even aware of it. The first I heard of it was when I opened my email just over an hour ago - definitely no input from us.
I have contacted the sender to ask for confirmation of the purpose of the survey (background info for a study? on behalf of a doctors group / organisation?) and explained that librarians are normally happy to complete surveys as long as it is clear how that information is going to be used. I will post an update to the list when I have received a response. If I don't get a response I'll also let you know so that you'll know what to do with the survey (if you haven't already done so...).
Regards,
James
