To: [log in to unmask]
Professor Caroline Series of the University of Warwick will deliver the lecture which is about Felix Klein who, in the nineteenth century, discovered in mathematics an idea about symmetry prefigured in a Buddhist myth - the heaven of Indra, which reflected the whole universe in a net of pearls. The talk considers recent computer exploration of Klein's theory.
