thanks for the tipp Sami,
I had already booked a ferry to Caen from 
Portsmouth, which now can go without me. I got a 
ticket to Lille and will take it from there. I 
encourage all others to try it online for the 
Eurostar, they have tickets, even if only a few.

a pint - with pleasure - where? Exmlouth Market 
has some nice places and is around the university 
anyway...
