Whoops forgot to send this earlier, but was reminded because after a
successful make world, a git pull fails because the conversion from
component.xml.in to component.xml is inserting a trailing space after
</p>
line in numerous files. I won't commit these. ((-:

In some contexts (comments and documentation) I want them there.

It's jed.

Linus hates trailing whitespace.

When you wrap paragraphs it matters. I agree that in many cases it
doesn't add, but there are places where I want to retain the space if
the text is modified and I want to re-wrap the paragraph.

It was part of language-sensitive editing to format paragraphs in
comments. I'd gladly take the extra effort of re-inserting some spaces
manually if this was possible in S-lang. That would save time, just
like being to expand subroutine argument lists. Anyone got the STARLSE
code that dealt with that? When I looked before it seemed to be part of
VAX LSE rather than something Rod added.
