Am I using the batch system incorrectly?
I am doing intrasubject analysis with multiple sessions.
The dependency flow works well for the steps realign -> unwarp -> slice timing.
However it breaks at the smooth step: the smooth step doesn't produce
virtual filenames for each session to use later on. And sure enough,
the code breaks at
the model specification step, as sessions cannot be mapped.
(Same for the coregistration step, but perhaps less important as no
new files are actually created)
If this is a bug in matlabbatch, is there a plan to fix it? This would
be very useful for me,
as the selection of files for multiple sessions is very tedious and
time consuming, and I've
found that writing Matlab code in matlabbatch is not very reusable
(i.e. code for
filenames looping over the the multiple sessions at the model
specification step),
and once the dependency mechanism breaks in matlabbatch, it is broken
all the way down the
pipeline.
Thanks,
Philippe
