I could add others. Certainly including a number of Susan Howe's books.
Stephen mentioned Lisa Robertson, & her _Debbie: An Epic_, would count.
bpNichol's ten volume _the martyrology_ is, admittedly (since he died
in 1988) not exactly 'contemporary' but it it's fairly so.
In Canada, we have a number of book length poems; many of which fall
into the 'documentary poem' area. Robin wondered about 'the sequence';
certainly a number of Erin Mouré's books would fit that concept. We
now have 3 iterations of _The Long Poem Anthology_ (originally
published by Coach House Press).
There's also that intriguing questions: how long is 'long'?
