Hi Lesley,
Ward work is hard and upsetting, but do not be under any illusions this
discipline is hard, frustrating and can be upsetting, but in different
ways !! I love it now, but it is just as hard as ward work. Don't be put
off though as it can be rewarding, challenging and if you are in a good
team coming to work is a bonus!!
Ros
Many Thanks

Hello Marisa,
I do agree that two years post registration experience is necessary to
equip prospective OH nurses with a wealth of knowledge of health and how
it may affect their ability to work. My main concern is balancing
experience against what I can cope with, I find ward work both upsetting
and exhausting. But then again, it's only two years.
Thank you all for your advice and help I've been offered a two or three
different experience days plus magazines which will be more than to be
going on with at this stage.
Take Care all.
Lesley Armiger
