Copper Mines
To be let a most promising vein of copper ore lately discovered upon the Ratling Hope Estate near Church Stretton, Salop, the property of the Reverend C.B. Hawkins of Lewknor, Oxfordshire.
From its peculiar situation amongst the hills it affords every advantage for levels, and the ore procured at a depth of 18 feet having been proved by scientific men to yield from 22 to 23 per cwt, genuine copper, evidently offers no idle speculation.
It is __xi__sly worked this may meet the ___ of some spirited and individual, who coming forward on this occasion can see the situation of the vein, and ore produced, will also find every facility for further expansion, and every information rendered by Mr C.B. Hawkins, Ratchop Hall.
I am, Dear sir,
Duddon Grove Yours truly,
Nov 8th 1833 William Millers
