Psychology Network miniproject funding
Funding: £6,000 per project
Deadline: 28 May 2010
The Psychology Network funds a miniproject scheme designed to promote the use of effective learning and teaching activities in psychology, to encourage the development and sharing of innovative approaches, and to raise awareness of the importance of evaluating the effectiveness of educational methods. Projects should typically aim to bring into wider use exemplary or innovative techniques,
methods or materials already developed for local use within departments, or to inform teaching and learning within psychology by building on existing work within the discipline. However, some 'pump-priming' funding might be available for new projects. The maximum funding for any one project will normally be £6,000.
Funds are allocated on the basis of a competitive bidding process, judged by the Psychology Network Advisory Board. We expect to fund three or possibly four projects in this round of funding. Projects will normally have a one year duration.
Proposals for funding must be made on the proposal form, and the next deadline for application is Friday, 28 May, 2010.
