"CONNECTIONS, EMOTIONS, EMPATHY: HOW DO WE CONCEPTUALISE AND USE AFFECT AND EMOTIONS IN QUALITATIVE HEALTH RESEARCH?" Sixth Colloquium in Qualitative Health Research , 6th - 7th May 2010, Organised by Qualitative Research Methods Forum, University of East Anglia, Norwich
KEY NOTE SPEAKERS: Veronica James, Jill Robinson,
AIM: Qualitative health and social science research emphasises the need to conceptualise connections, relations and divisions between healthcare practitioners, technologies, patients and researchers. Affect and emotions are major research topics, leading to questions about how human connections and relations influence qualitative research . This two day colloquium welcomes health and social care professionals and social scientists researching health, illness and medicine, to examine these.
