I offer: Teresa Webber, Scribes and Scholars at Salisbury Cathedral
c.1075-c.1125 (Oxford Historical Monographs) (Clarendon Press; Revised
edition 1992)
Salisbury (Sarum) was not monastic, although one of its progenitors,
Sherborne, was. (The other, Ramsbury, wasn't.) I don't know how long the
book-producing tradition continued.
