Hi everyone,
I hope someone can help me out with some ideas...
I am a research fellow at the School of Education at the Technische
Universität München (TUM) in Germany and I am in charge of the development
of an e-learning project for the TUMLab.
The TUMLab is a computer lab for schools within the Deutsches Museum
(Science and Technique Museum in Munich) but run by the university. Schools
come in for courses in robotics, astronomy, chemistry modellisation, etc.
Course leaders are mostly students at the university in engineering,
astronomy... Have a look at http://www.tumlab.de/en/ (the website
translation into English is not very good and not complete but it could give
you some more info).
The E-Learning project for the TUMLab would support the "virtuous circle of
learning", with prep and follow-up to a lab visit (including museum visit),
and thus the sustainability of these visits.
Does anyone know about a similar offer in a museum? Do you have any
concrete example of an E-Learning project for a school lab?
Thanks for any info.
Best regards,
Elodie Moreau
