Hi,
Some of you know that we have an ad hoc gathering here in Scotland to talk about Federation related things, called McShib.
Well the tartan gryphon is having another outing and we have a meeting Scheduled for the 13th May, there may be some on here who haven't heard about it from other sources.
There will be presentations from
Nicole Harris (JISC) and
Rhys Smith (Cardiff and JANET)
Rod Widdowson (Edina/sdss)
Mike White (Stirling)
and me
on such topics as the publisher interface study, RAPTOR, Moonshot, the upgrade process to Shibboleth 2, how to use a database for the Stored ID, How to use the Service Provider to protect local web services and much more.
This time the meeting will be held at the University of Dundee on the 13th May starting at 10:30AM. Further details and booking information are at: http://www.rsc-eden.co.uk/events/event_details.asp?eid=88
All are welcome, although the group is aimed at the more northerly sites! (as you can guess by the venue)
Cheers
Andy Swiffin
