I have this response from our mineralogists:
>>Strontianocalcite is not a valid mineral name. If you have a calcite
with some measurable strontium in it, then you could refer to it as a
strontian calcite - but this is only really a modifier, ie a varietal or
descriptive name - the correct species name would be just calcite.<<
