Are you interested in reviewing books or plans for a well-respected,
peer-reviewed academic journal?
Planning Theory and Practice has a new, revamped book reviews section,
which now includes reviews of Policy & Planning Briefs. We're looking
for contributions of between 1,500 and 2,000 words in length. These
articles can include critical insights and analysis of key policy
developments and debates and analysis of spatial plans based on
describing the plan’s context, its aims and content, the planning
process, and an illustration or map. Policy & Planning Briefs should
have an international relevance and appeal.
Book reviews should normally be between 800 and 1,000 words. The review
should give the journal audience a concise summary and offer a critical
assessment of the book’s content. We also welcome articles that
re-evaluate ‘classic’ planning texts within the context of a more recent
publication.
Reviews or suggestions for reviews should be emailed directly to the
Reviews Editor, Mark Scott. Email: [log in to unmask]
