As a positive control, mine works with what I assume to be the same
configuration:
Mac Mini --> mini/DVI adapter --> Zalman-supplied DVI cable --> Zalman
DVI input port.
I assume you tried hitting the "detect displays" button in the "Displays"
pane of System Preferences? If not, try that. BTW the stereo won't work
if you have display mirroring turned on, but sometimes it helps to toggle
it on and off to find the signal, but then leave mirroring off once
everything works.
I am a bit worried about what you mean by "old style". Did anything
change in say the last 4 months?
