For a community psychology discussion list many of whose members claim a critical standpoint, posts on the list over the last few weeks have been overwhelmingly and extraordinarily individualistic, psychologistic, conservative and acritical. Whether posts have claimed 'enormous progress' at a London housing estate has resulted from as research consistent with positive psychology, courageous people and persistence or whether they have positioned clinical psychologists' 'personal views' as of interest and relevance to community psychological discussion or whether they have reported the positive opinions of students or colleagues to IATP or whether they have been negative about IATP in ways which function to position other types of therapy as less problematic or to reinforce orthodox science by positioning IATP as being problematic because 'ridiculously unscientific', they have been - as Craig observed - a manifestation of psy, in the sense of Rose.
