I don’t recall saying anything to merit Judy’s initial attack on me. She mentioned something about my not understanding something she’d said. It is curious that she should say this, as I had not responded to anything she had said before her attack on me.
She did “apologise” for it, saying that she had been in some discomfort due to hay fever, and that this had made her feel grouchy, and so she took it out on me. But she ended the apology, by saying that she’d enjoyed “trashing” me all the same—which is a strange sort of apology, in my view.
Then Robin joined in the attack. I don’t think he’d followed the thread too closely at that point, and was just acting instinctually loyal to a friend, without much thought to what he was really saying. Anger can do that to you sometimes.
