Sense is a national charity that supports and campaigns for children and
adults who are deafblind. We provide specialist information, advice and
services to deafblind people, their families, carers and the
professionals who work with them. In addition, we support people who
have sensory impairments with additional disabilities.

We are currently recruiting for a Technology Officer who will keep
abreast of technological developments and ensure information and advice
on what is available is made known to deafblind people and their
families. They will enable deafblind people to generate ideas about how
technology can help them, evaluate what is available and feedback to
manufacturers and policy makers.

We are looking for someone who is innovative and able to solve complex
problems. Their knowledge of how technology can help people with
disabilities will enable them to enthuse about the potential technology
offers and influence technology designers, decision makers and
providers.

I am aware that you support networks of people interested in assistive
technologies and would be grateful if you could pass this information
on. I apologise if this is something you are not able to do.

If anyone is interested in the job there are more details at
