Consultant Statistician
Salary Range £31,340 - £38,930 per annum All appointments will normally be made at the bottom of the salary range
The successful candidate will work with the Director and three existing statistical consultants in the Statistical Advisory Service of Imperial College at the South Kensington campus. This new post represents an expansion of the Service to support the NIHR Research Design Service London. The RDS London has recently been awarded a 5-year grant. You will work as part of a team to provide high quality statistical advice to clinical research staff and students in the Faculty of Medicine and across NHS institutions in NW London, and to contribute to the development and delivery of short courses.
Applicants should have a postgraduate degree or equivalent in statistics, and some experience in medical statistics, preferably in a clinical trial setting or in a consultancy role, in addition to communication and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with the design, management, regulatory requirements and statistical analysis of data in clinical trials is desirable.
This full time post is available for a fixed-term until 30 September 2013.
