Are you over 45? If so, we'd like to hear about your "Journey to Work"
Population changes have led to an increase in the proportion of older workers within the UK workforce. This presents new and exciting challenges for organisations and for occupational health services. It is now essential to ensure that the working age population are able to work longer (if they wish to) by maintaining and promoting their work ability and by facilitating healthier working lives.
“Working Late” is a 4 year collaborative research project within Loughborough University which will design solutions aimed at enabling people to enjoy longer productive working lives. One aspect of this project is looking at the journey to work as a potential barrier to staying in employment later in life, to identify the main problems, and to design solutions to help workers and employers overcome them. To help us to gather information about how the journey to work affects older workers we would be grateful if you could complete the following questionnaire:
