Hi,
I think you want the MarsBaR list for this one....
> 1. While using SPM5,for extracting a fMRI timecourse (eigenvariate) one has a option of adjusting the timecourse for a specified F-contrast. What excatly does this "adjusting" do? Specifically, does it include some form of mean centering and hemodynamic deconvolution? I have noticed that subjecting an adjusted timecourse to simple deconvolution in the PPI module of SPM5 does not further change it in anyway.
I believe that the adjustment regresses out the effects not contained
in the F contrasts. These effects will typically include, as you
say, the mean, but not hemodynamic convolution.
> 2. Since I would like to extract the MEAN timecourse from a spherical VOI rather than the eigenvariate, I have tried using MarsBaR. Is it possible to adjust the extracted timecourse for an F-contrast in MarsBar? If so how?
You could use the spm_graph option in the results menu; that is
essentially the same as the SPM algorithm...
Best,
Matthew
