With the new segment option (which will just be called segment in the
next SPM version, and the old option removed), Dartel importing needs to
be done at the segmenting stage. To try to make the ui as simple as
possible (because in SPM8, everything is displayed) and reduce the
number of emails about the meaning of "out of memory" error messages, I
have chosen to fix the default sizes of the "imported" images.
However, a little change to line 211 of
spm8/toolbox/Seg/spm_preproc_write8.m from:
vx = 1.5;
to
vx = 1.0;
should achieve the desired effect.
