* SWAP is now inviting bids for project funding up to max £5000 *
The call is now open for bids for project funding of up to £5000. It is anticipated that 5-6 projects will be funded this year. We invite bids from social policy and social work practitioners in UK HE on teaching, learning and assessment issues.
The themes for 2010 are:
* Technology for learning, e.g. the use of social media for learning
* Education for sustainable development, e.g. environmental sustainability, global citizenship, professional values and ethics
* Assessment of practice or work-based learning
We will also consider bids on themes not listed above.
Projects are expected to run between September 2010 and May 2011.
The bidding will take place in two stages: An initial brief expression of interest (max 750 words) should be submitted by the deadline of 5pm on Wednesday, 24 March 2010. Applicants may then be invited to submit a full application if their expression of interest meets all the criteria.
