Those of you that are making the transition from postgraduate who
teaches to lecturer might be interested in the following opportunity.
The New Psychology Lectures' Forum is taking place on Thursday and
Friday 8 and 9 April 2010 at the University of Middlesex. This two day
professional development conference offered at no charge provides an
opportunity for new psychology staff or those new to teaching in the UK
to share and evaluate a range of approaches, methods, and resources for
learning and teaching in the discipline.
Sessions will be led by UK psychology academics offering a mix of
presentations, workshops and group discussions with a focus on practical
experience. This event is offered at no charge and includes refreshments
throughout both days as well as the conference dinner. Advanced
registration is required and spaces are limited.
