Jonson's translation survived Vulcan and was the first English translation
of the Ars Poetica published (in 1640). I can't get access to a text of it,
frustratingly, but it may be that it has the form 'good Homer nods'. I
emphasise, may be.
Can't get any further without access to academic libraries it seems.
