I was going to say...blogger is okay. Typepad charges money for dim-bulb
customer service and the inability to solve basic user problems, e.g.,
transferring a blog from one service to another. Wordpress is wonderful.
Also look at OpenSalon as yet another free and very visible alternative.
It has its own issues, like nobody ever replies to a Help note...but you
can meet some remarkable people. There's supposed to be a way to feed
from your "primary" blog (e.g., Wordpress) into OS, but it's not
terribly effective.
