If other Jiscmail lists work well like that then I don't really see why this one
couldn't!
An additional benefit would be that those automatic 'out of office' notifiers
wouldn't go to everyone on the list

message to the list. Most of the time people reply to all and the message goes
to the list and there is good discussion, as on this list. It seems that midwives
aren't very familiar with using a 'reply to all' option, unlike the people on the
other lists. It may be that a trial period would give you a chance to test it,
but that most people are worried about trying this.
