Subject: Newspaper Archives query
A lecturer who needs to search newspaper archives has asked me if there are
publishers which offer online archives of newspapers published outside the
U.S. and U.K.. He is interested in newspapers from 1945 to the present.
We already subscribe to NexisUK which provides much coverage back to the
1980s, but he needs more than this. Ideally he would like to know of any
publisher equivalent to Proquest (which offers the archives of many U.S.
papers) but covering countries other than the U.S. and U.K. I would
appreciate any information or advice.
