Interesting thread.
It prompted me to have a quick look at our Google Analytics stats which I thought I'd share a summary of.
Wikipedia (aggregating all versions/languages) is the highest non-search referrer to the kew.org website, generating about 1,000 visits per week. Each visit also typically results in 30% more page views than an 'average' visit and 42% longer time on site. Percentage of new vs repeat visitors is roughly average.
Not sure if anyone else wants to share their experience, on or off list? Particularly anyone who has actively done anything on Wikipedia and might have before and after figures?
