Love to see everything and choose what to follow. I can quickly delete the stuff that holds no interest for me. Thanks for asking, Mia.

Dear MCG-ers,
you may have noticed flurries of discussions around topics like APIs and
Linked Data (the semantic web is so last decade) on this list, and on
various blogs and tweets.
I sometimes feel that twitter, while incredibly useful, can also be a bit of
an echo chamber, and I think it's important to have these discussions in
public rather than disappear off to private email. I've got loads of
questions I'd like to ask, and ideas I'd like to share on the subject, but
I'm also aware that there are 700-something people on this list, and maybe
20 people actively interested in these geekier discussions.
So my question for you all is - how niche is too niche for the MCG list?
Are you happy to skim/delete these conversations, or do you feel they
clutter up the list or drown out other potential topics?
If you'd rather email me off-list that's fine -

cheers, Mia
