Hi James,
We use WebTrends at Museum of London in addition to Google Analytics and
it's really useful because it also includes in its reporting downloads
(all documents and media files). Also, as we have many sites with
different domain names, it can be hard to cross reference and tally all
the results automatically in GA, however WebTrends allows for this.
But actually the main thing I find really useful is to be able to track
the trends both in WebTrends and Google Analytics and make sure they are
similar and if not, it prompts Jeremy or I to look into why and how. The
investigation always brings up something interesting. So yes, overall,
very useful.

Subject: Website analytics tools
Hi
We're using Google Analytics as our primary tool for monitoring and
reporting web stats, but there are some aspects that we want to
ground-truth (mainly related to referrers) against another analysis tool
based on our raw log files. Does anyone recommend any package (Linux or
Windows) that we could try out?
Whilst I'm asking, has anyone tried Yahoo's 'rival' to Google Analytics
- http://web.analytics.yahoo.com/features.php ?
Thanks, James
