Re more discussion, yes please, more.
I think I'm guilty of encouraging the migration to twitter. I use it
all the time for provoking debate and asking questions. It's useful in
some ways because people from outside the sector respond, but then
again not always helpfully! The other reason twitter is attractive is
that it takes 5 seconds to chuck out a question, whereas I feel I need
to craft a question properly for the MCG list. Sometimes my questions
are the very opposite of niche, but are more philosophical or general
and I worry that they won't suit the more geeky amongst you.
So, if you don't mind a less niche question, can I ask these two?
1) Is anyone aware of an association/network/individual thinker or
blog that explores digital heritage, but in the field of nature
conservation and environmental science?
2) Now the less niche question, what do you think is the quality
overall of the current user experience of digital access to heritage?
The latter might lead to some debate, let's see!
