Yes our students have reported being unable to proceed past the verification screen.
We use OpenAthens and single sign-on via the university portal to our e-resources. Previously our students could click on a link to Dreamspark from the Home tab of MyAthens and then verify themselves in Dreamspark with their Windows Live ID account. Now when our students try to verify their accounts, they are referred to back to the University log in page, yet they already logged in due to the single sign-on.
I have not had a reply from Microsoft about how our students be successfully verified.
