Appreciate the response, this is re-assuring. I don't know the full reason
behind why we use a ldap directory to store/release the target ID aside
from the directory being more resilient (i.e. it is clustered), and more
speedy at delivering this attribute when compared to a database. We also
store the other eduperson attributes in the directory, so it made to sense
to have the target id here also.
