Did you in fact have a 256x256 matrix? And 3/8 partial Fourier sampling was used (to cut down TE), and you effectively ended up with 96*96, with your scanner interpolating back to 256 by zero filling?

Betreff: [FSL] DTI resolution
Hi,
I'm getting dti images on GE 3.0T. The parameters are as follows:
FOV=250, acquisition matrix=96*96, thickness is 2.6mm, so the voxel
resolution is 2.6*2.6*2.6 mm3. However, when i convert dicom to nifti,
and check the info using fslinfo, it shows the voxel resolution is
0.98*0.98*2.6. WHY?
Does it need to change the resolution to isotropy? And how if i wanna
change the resolution to 1*1*1?
Thanks,
