Hi,
Median is calculated as the 50th percentile. That is:
fslstats imagename -p 50
Mode is not so easily defined and requires you to generate
a histogram and find the bin with the largest values in it.
The mode is then the centre value of that bin. However, you
will need to choose the histogram bin width yourself and make
it appropriate to your image intensity distribution. You can
generate a histogram by doing:
fslstats imagename -H 100 min max
for 100 bins between the intensity values min and max (which
will then allow you to figure out what the centres of the bins are).
All the best,
Mark
