Hi FSL experts,
As you may find from the graph attached, we usually use this type of FMRI preprocessing using NIAK to do the Functional Connectivity study. But now that I want to use Melodic on the same dataset, I am not sure how to remove the physiological noise. I assume that I can remove this noise at the end of ICA analysis by looking at components that stand for it (ventricle and brain stem area). But I am not sure about that. Is there any way/reason to remove them using FSL in advance as a preprocessing step not as a component? (I do not have any recording of heart pulsation and respiratory rate)
Best,
Mona
