Hi,
It is standard practice to only acquire your FMRI timeseries
(EPI, T2*-weighted) and a T1-weighted structural image.
We have not found it beneficial to acquire a T2-weighted
structural image. We *do* find it beneficial to acquire fieldmaps
though, and I would encourage you to do this as it can help
the FMRI-structural registration considerably.
