The objective of this Text is to provide a basic understanding of
inclusive education and disability politics for professionals, academics and
students that may not be, until now, directly (or closely) affianced with
the disability field but may in the immediate future consider taking up a
role within this sector. This is an ideal text for under- and post-graduate
students, researchers and community operators engaged in the field of
disability issues and inclusive education.
Dr Andrew Azzopardi is a Lecturer at the
University of Malta. His lecturing & research focus on inclusive education,
sociology, critical pedagogy,
disability politics, youth & community studies. He is currently coordinating
a Masters in Inclusive Education & Communities.
He has published extensively in the field of disability studies and
inclusive education.
