Brother Paul is consciousness rerouting rotoscopery. Usually such
interzonish reality decouplers do not spark but sludge up quickly into the
mud zone. Yet, with Green, we may follow him in his weavings of eras, for
instance, his relation of, say, the politics of the pre-digital media zones
to the current politics of media--we see the relation of the current
politics of media to the pre-digital. The corporate and yet sometimes
unaccountably individual manipulation of individuals and the mass mind via
the media mantras of reality adjustment and mysterious quantum effects.
Of course that's partly because he has been at it that long and relates them
unlike anyone else I know of. The angle of declination of the west is
discernable in Paul Green's work because of the distance (yet similarity)
between the points in time he interpolates.
