Good news Mark, & well deserved.
Your project brings to mind a manuscript of Mapuche [Chilean] poetry a
couple of South Australian poets are trying to get off the ground. [The
Mapuche ... make up 4% of the Chilean population. "Mapuche poetry
constitutes one of the most relevant literary phenomena to arise in Chile
in the past two decades. Since 1988 to date, a score of Mapuche authors
have been regularly publishing books, thereby establishing a distinctive
and diverse lyrical poetics." (from the intro).]
It's an adventurous project, each of the poems from the twenty-one
contributors appears in three languages: Mapudungún, Spanish and English.
(It's proven far too adventurous for the publishers approached so far, the
anthology's still doing the rounds looking for a publisher).
