if you / she has a mobile you can usually write and read you r messages on the PC software used to sync back-up etc the phone, as long as the phone is plugged in. The web to sms sites of a few years ago seem to have largely disappeared although others may know of one or 2 although they usuall limit number of messages sent (per day for example) and do have replies send to your phone rather than readable online.

Subject: On line texting
Hi
One of my clients is a switch user but wants to text. We've talked about the click to phone but it is prohibitively expensive, so are looking at free on-line texting. Can anyone suggest where to point her to? I am hoping to set her up with a keo for PC access.
Also she has a great voice so was wondering about combining the keo with Dragon - has anyone any experience of this?
Thanks for reading
Lisa
